| ....we have been suffering here at Bt HQ with the great British weather...its been cold and wet...and then just wet....and then cold...and then wet again...its very tiring for a dog...Miss Lola has been quite overcome by it..... |

| .....our very good friend Sir Jack Spratticus sent us this lovely draft excluder....*whisper* I will let you in on a little secret...this was supposed to be a Christmas present for mum but the typist put it in a cupboard and forgot to give it to her! Pfffft....he remembered last week....and its very good at keeping the cold winds out of the kitchen... |

| ....meanwhile up in London the typist is having a different experience altogether...this is the view from his window...it looks positively tropical doesn't it?.... |

| ...so tropical in fact that he met this little fellow on the underground last week?...all the way from Brazil, via Rome to London...he was on his way to the river to meet his public and pose for photos....he seemed to quite like the typist for some reason...perhaps he smells like the jungle... |

| ....and we even had our own Monster Blizzard!....1cm of snow which lasted until lunchtime!... |
