Weekend...back in the saddle...

Hello my dear friends...we have been enjoying a very nice weekend indeed...and buidling up to getting back onto the bike for the first time since we got knocked off two weeks ago....

Miss Lola makes it clear she would like some attention....

...so Miss Lola and I went for a walk at Headley Heath where we had #BTSurrey....this is the gorse bush where Miss Lola went rabbit-sniffing...

I think the rabbit-sniffing was quite energetic because I beat her to the top of the Big Hill....

...then in the evening, I completed another of my "firsts"...my first trip to the cinema!....*claps paws*....

We went to see Start Trek! ...and it was on an iMax screen in 3D!!!...OMD it was loud...and very exciting....it gets 5 Paws Up from me...

...a certain amount of snacks may have been consumed....

....but that was Ok because on Sunday morning me and Typist ventured out into the Surrey Hills on our bike with its new wheels fitted after our accident.....lets get going!!

We went through Bansted and waved to @hugoterrier and Dotty.....

We stopped at the church in reigate for a drink and a bit of banana snack....

I gave the new wheels a quick check to make sure they were doing their job....

...and we left quickly and quietly so that we didnt disturb the service

We even saw some cricket....can you see the men in white behind me?

...I insisted we stop after 30 miles for a pit stop, a drink and to check the stats...
Nom nom.....

It was good to eat our second banana snack in our own pawsonal hut....

...and I had to check the map to make sure we were still in the Surrey Hills and not the Andes....

...and after 45 long miles we got back to Ashtead and went to Bike Beanz for our porridge and banana and honey...they are fuelling the revolution....BOL...

...but there is no rest for the wicked....and I h took Miss Lola off for a nice walk in the sun...she was panting hard....

...but there was still a long way to go down the gallops....

...and Miss Lola will make sure she investigates every smell along the way...
End of the Day

...I hope you all had a lovely weekend too. For the technically minded, you can see all the details of where we got to on the bike and how fast we went HERE ...including the bits where I broke the speed limit...

  8. What a great weekend. Love the new wheels. Zack would love to run round with Lola in those gorgeous green fields. The grass is finally turning green here after a long winter.
