Sporting Life

Hello my friends....we had an excite ng weekend of sport last weekend....now, as you know, we do get out on our bikes quite a bit from BT HQ and I do enjoy a week on the slopes with my skis....imagine my delight when typist told me that we had booked a late ski holiday as the snow had finally decided to appear after taking some time off over Christmas...

....so we fired up Clapton's Taxi and took off to Snow & Rock to buy some skis and boots for William...who has finally stopped growing long enough to merit his own kit.....

...here we are in Chertsey....first in the car park at 9am to be first into the queue for boot fitting...it can be quite  along affair and this means we don't have to wait all day to get served....*yaaaaawn*...

....its a big store....which means I had to drag typist out of the bike section and over to the skis so he could help.....

....maybe this year I could be a "boarder" terrier?....BOL.....(*jokes courtesy of my pal Bonnie from twitter)

....and one thing I definitely don't want this year is cold paws....these should do nicely.....as a sleeping bag....

....Willam's new boot...don't worry...we did remember to buy a pair of them.....quite snug and warm in here....

...and in the afternoon after a quick bite to eat typist and I headed off to London on the train.....SOMEONE forgot to brush my fur before we went out though.....

....we were at the legendary Twickenham Stadium to see England play Scotland at rugby.....

....before the game I advised the England coach on selection....we will field 15 @winstonwoofs.....

...we mingled with the crowds outside the West Gate.....

....we mingled with the toffs eating prawns and sipping champagne in their tailgating party in the Twickenham Village.....

....and eventually we took our seats...see how close to the pitch we are? WOW....here are the teams warming up before the match....

....I am wearing my red rose for England.....

....here are the teams in the middle of the match...which England won....and after the game I was lucky enough to shake paws with former England skipper Lewis Moody....his paws are very large....

....quite the terrier our Mr Moody.....
.....after an exciting and busy day it was nice to get home to Miss Lola at BT HQ....

Clapton...at the bottom of the ruck....

  6. Whoa, what a day you had Clapton! That store is huge and it looks like it had a great bike section...my daddy-dog would've been there all day! BOL Great to see you out and about. Say hello to Typist for me and of course, I send some Cairn cuddles for Miss Lola.
