Ooop North

This weekend we went up north to Derbyshire to see our family in Chesterfield. We was particularly opin' to see Grandma and she was kind enuff to invite us to her house to stay. Here we are relaxin' in the sun in her garden.

The humans did go off swimmin' in the morning but in the afternoon we went up to Chatsworth House (Chatswuff House, if you ask me) to have a walk in the gardens. Last time we were here we was with Grandad and we did miss him today. Here is the garden and the lake, which has sprung a leak and will need a plumber to ave a look at it..

The garden was full of interestin' things. Here is a tree that was upset and had been cryin' all mornin'....

William was almost eaten by a Triffid....

The best bit though was that we did meet some other doggies, includin Alfie the border terrier. He was so quick that daddy almost missed him with the camera...

I also insisted that daddy got a pikture of the waterfall for my kitty chums because there was some delishus lookin fish in it...(and cousins Alice and Isabelle too)

The humans decided they would visit the maze.....and here they are gettin' lost despite William's foolproof method for gettin' to the middle and back...

When the crew finally reappeared from the maze we went to pick some flowers for our friends who have been poorly....

On Sunday, we went to a bootiful lake...

...where the sun was streamin' through the trees..

Lola was overexcited bout seein some hawks in the sky and fell in the mud and had to be washed in a bucket when we got back. Sadly, all good things come to an end and we had to go home, but only after one last photo op with one of my biggest fans...

I ope we can go back there soon as Derbyshire is my favourite place....after my bean bag of course..

Pepi Truck

After the sad news that Pepi has died (see last post), millions of his pals went on a ride in @henryandfriend's truck to a meadow near the rainbow bridge to celebrate his life.

Here we all are...

If phink that if you click the picture you can see it bigger and all our faces are clear.

There was singin' and dancin' and lots of eatin' and drinkin', which is what Pepi taught us all to do. A lovely time was had by all and we hope that Pepi and his mum can find peace now. I do quote to you the werds of a very wise bear who did say about Twitter friends "yoo is al speshul to me an i treshur ower frendship. we do larf an cry toogevva. we share ower lifes. ower opes an dreems aswel". I 'ope Henry will not mind that I use his werds

George the Duck is the genius who did manage to fit us all into this picture. He 'ave a very big camera.

And I also say you should look at all the photos of Pepi ere but do be careful cos the ones at the end might makes you cry

Pepi

Today has been a very sad day 'cos our friend Pepi has died. He did live in Australia and but was always talkin' to us on twitter and was 18 years old and a poster boy for Golden Oldie dogs.

People is always sayin nice phings bout him and he was very famous. That is because he was cheeky and 'ansome at the same time...

Here is 'is cheeky face pokin' out of his pram what he did use to get about in...

The bestest thing about Pepi was that he was always the one to get the fun goin' on Twitter for his younger pals. Even though he was ill he did take me for a super fast ride in his racin' pram this week and was pullin' wheelies an donuts to the last...

...and he was leadin the dancin' on #pirate4aday with his jig troupe and tired out all the young pups.

Even when he was poorly he was able to put a smile on all our faces...

and was able to get the ladies goin posin' in his speedos....

...or doin' his hair for a pawpawty....

Tonight we will be going for a special ride on Henry's truk to a meadow near the rainbow bridge to celebrate Pepi's life. The truk do not be full yet, but by 9 o'clock it will be bulgin' wiv frends that Pepi has touched wiv his wisdom and fun....

....and I ope we can remember the old boy in appy times like this...

If you is brave, then I say ave a look at this tribute page for Pepi what @frugaldougal have done. CAUTION: may induce tears.

Tributes are also comin in to Sanjee's page.

Rest in peace my dogggy chum. If you likes, you can light a candle for him ere. I have done one and so ave may of his pals.

WW2

Lola has been in trubble today. First she has been smellin' like a dustbin. Second she has chewed daddy's headphones into bits and 'e is very cross.

This evenin' I did think she was going to try and take my chew so I had to stand guard over it....

Then she tried to sneak up on it but I did keep her away...

Unfortunately I turned my back and she was in like a cat burglar...

So we had to show her who is boss...

Kings of Twitter

Today I am presentin' to you all of my border terrier chums from Twitter. Some 'ave been there since I found it and some are new. Let's say hello...

Hello to Bauer (who is @bauerbt), who I think was the first BT I did find on Twitter and so is my oldest anipal...

Sometimes Bauer does get himself into scrapes. Here is another one...

Then close on the heels of Bauer came TerrorTerrier (whose real name I do not know)...

...and Diamond Bertie (@diaomondbertie) who is sportin a nice look for the recent #pawpawty...

...and lovely old @borderpup who is always tweetin me and Lola...

One of the most excitin things bout Twitter is also meetin nice people who look after border terriers. I shall give honourable mention to some. First there is loveley Claire (@clairetweet) who lives in Derbyshire like Grandma and looks after Ernie (who is naughty and alwyas runnin' away....Ernie!!)...

...and also my friend Naomi (@tattooed_mummy) who is always helpin me out and recommendin things and looks after Jeep & Diesel...

...and Kaye (@wallprice) and Brian (@welshbrian) who ave Millie ....

...and then there is Lora (@licklepickle) who looks after Hendrix, who is action dog...

...and my great pal Carolyn (@poptart65) who 'as Bracken at 'er 'ouse...

Hello for you Bracken. Of course, lots of the BTs are able to tweet on their own and so I am always talkin to...

Griff an Ollie who are @thegobros..

...and Caber (@caberbt) and Zive (@zivabt) who live on the other side of the world...

and Baxter at @baxterspeaks (but Kristin may be doin' the talkin' for him)...

But the best thing about Twitter is that there are always new dogs along. Recently I have become chums with .....Maise (@maisiewoof)...

...and Lexie (who lives at @dogstoyevsky)...

...and Mr Bas who lives with @rosereiki...

...and Mollie who lives with @clairemarie_85....

Finally I do say hello and woof to my friends...

....Tony (@tonysez) who lives in New York (but I am waiting for his picture to arrive) and to Fergus (@fergusbt)...

...and Sol @btuniverse...

So, hello to you all my terrier chums. Now I just have tio sit back and see who I have forgotten and prepare my apologies. How lucky we are to have these friends who we can talk to everyday.
