#WorkingFromHomeFriday

Hello my friends....today (Friday) the Typist decided he would work from home as he had to go to the dentist in the afternoon.....it's always a busy time for him when he does this....he has lots to do and mist concentrate hard....

...luckily we had taken delivery of some new coffee pods yesterday....I think we will need them....

...I made sure he was properly fuelled with a nice bowl of muesli...he doesn't know where I keep it....please don't tell him....

....a cup of 10/10 strength espresso to get the motors running at full speed......

.....and of course checking that Miss Lola's breakfast bowls are all present and correct and clean......

.....I checked the schedule to make sure we knew all about the important meetings during the day.....pssst, the BT Posse calendar is now on sale for only £5 from our dear friends at Feelwells...at least for those in the UK

.....then we had to take mum to the station...i did volunteer to drive but apparently I don't have the right paperwork.....

.....we took Miss Lola for a walk....bit of a disaster though...we managed to get onto the doorstep without a key and the door swung shut behind us...oh dear....so we had to phone mum and then walk to meet her at the station to "borrow" her key...which meant a walk on the roads and not in the woods...

....Miss Lola was none too impressed.......and neither was mum! BOL....

....er...I think we were supposed to be working....we managed a quick check of peemails before.....

...heading back into the village to get a haircut....our local barber has its own pole...a barber's pole...NOT a pole for dancing...ahem...as some were suggesting on twitter today....Typist was clipped...he does not like his fur stripped.....

....and then we went to get a spare key cut to leave with Mavis next door n case of further accidents.....

....and we popped into the local shop to stock up on provisions.....

....Miss Lola and I wondered when the actual working bit of working from home was going to start.....

...so we decided to have our own meeting....we discussed sun-puddle production......

.....I was called on to do some navigating for the Typist while he did his daily exercise....we are following the Yellow Jersey up Mont Ventoux.....

....after a tremendously "busy" morning we had a simple lunch which I prepared myself....tune sandwich and a glass of juice....

....Miss Lola had a nap to recover from the shock of our meeting...sun-puddles are at an all time low.....

....although I did manage to find one for the Typist....we did some "blue sky" thinking......

....eugh....we had to go to the dentist eventually of course.....just the hygienist though....*flashes gleaming teeth*.....

.....a little wander round town.....we took an emergency call...William was back at home from school and feeling a bit under the weather with a cold....

....so we did a cake run for him....a nice slice of carrot cake and a honey/lemon drink for his throat.....

...oh...and a small detour to pick up some new chews for Miss Lola.....

...she took one to her office......

...and finally back to the station at 5pm to get mum.....all this working from home is a very tiring business indeed.....

I hope you had more restful days my friends...I wish you all a dry and fun-filled weekend.....

Clapton.......woof....

  4. Clapton, it seems that "working from home" means no work at all! BOL I see that Typist exercises on the bike the same way daddy-dog does, with the iPeed turned to Tour de France so he can pretend he is superior biker. I sure hope William is feeling better.
