Christmas time...

Hello everybody *waves paws*....did you forget about me? I suppose that is probably my fault for being so bad at keeping up with the blog these last few busy weeks. The week before Christmas was a total write-off when all the whole family came down with colds and flu....

....all dressed up and nowhere to go...

....so I had to put aside the festivities and tend to their every need....

...are you sure this is good for flu?...

...even Lola's....

..treats for Lola at Christmas...

....and make sure that naughty people were not spoiling their medication with naughty Christmas chocolates...

...shut...and staying shut...

...but of course they eventually recovered and thankfully before Christmas Day....Lola got a nice Lamb Shank bone to keep her busy....but she got very worried someone was going to steal it from her....

...and was not happy until she had been allowed out into the garden to eat it in peace....

...nom nom nom....

...even if it was raining cats and (other) dogs out there....

...mum got a nice reminder about a certain someone in her stocking....

...now permanently in a comfy spot....

...after a very nice day of presents and food we decided to get out of the house for a walk on Boxing Day.....

...i feel certain someone is watching me!...

...and we got right to the top of Leith Hill...the highest point in Surrey....

...Lord of all I survey....

...and King of the Castle....

...and even the cows came out to say Happy Christmas...with a special mooooo for @sidthecatahoula in Chicago....

Moooooello Sid....

...in fact we have done several walks over the holidays...we delved into our book of local walks and found a nice one in Pirbright....but the rain came and we had to keep the camera in its waterproof container....

...Lola: unimpressed by mud....

...but our walk in Leigh looked more promising on New years Day.....

....sunny outlook? Pawfect.....

...but...oh dear....

...another mud bath for Miss Lola....

....there's only one thing a knitted dog can do when the weather thwarts his plans....TO THE SALES!.....

....do you have it in a "small"?....

....it was an exhausting trip.....

Dogs who lunch....

I hope you had a lovely Christmas and Lola and I wish you a happy new year.....

Lola and her bone made me laugh cos I do same thing...walk around, whining, until I can find either a place to hide it (for safe keeping) or a quiet place to eat it. BOL

    Lovely photos from your walks!

  7. Thanks for the update on your Christmas holidays. I love hearing all about it. What a lovely tribute to Marley in that Cushion. I am sure it was a little difficult getting through Christmas without him but Zack and we all were thinking about you through the holidays. Love hearing about your walkabouts in the english countryside and your everyday goings on. Take care.

  16. I had to laugh when I saw Lola with her bone. I do the same thing until I find a blanket to burry it in. When my person played the video, I ran around the house looking for the cute border with the tasty treat (something I've never done before in response to video/tv). Now I am sulking and watching the door (hoping the dog will return). My friend Ike will be here in an hour so I will cheer up.
