Ooop North

This weekend we went up north to Derbyshire to see our family in Chesterfield. We was particularly opin' to see Grandma and she was kind enuff to invite us to her house to stay. Here we are relaxin' in the sun in her garden.

The humans did go off swimmin' in the morning but in the afternoon we went up to Chatsworth House (Chatswuff House, if you ask me) to have a walk in the gardens. Last time we were here we was with Grandad and we did miss him today. Here is the garden and the lake, which has sprung a leak and will need a plumber to ave a look at it..

The garden was full of interestin' things. Here is a tree that was upset and had been cryin' all mornin'....

William was almost eaten by a Triffid....

The best bit though was that we did meet some other doggies, includin Alfie the border terrier. He was so quick that daddy almost missed him with the camera...

I also insisted that daddy got a pikture of the waterfall for my kitty chums because there was some delishus lookin fish in it...(and cousins Alice and Isabelle too)

The humans decided they would visit the maze.....and here they are gettin' lost despite William's foolproof method for gettin' to the middle and back...

When the crew finally reappeared from the maze we went to pick some flowers for our friends who have been poorly....

On Sunday, we went to a bootiful lake...

...where the sun was streamin' through the trees..

Lola was overexcited bout seein some hawks in the sky and fell in the mud and had to be washed in a bucket when we got back. Sadly, all good things come to an end and we had to go home, but only after one last photo op with one of my biggest fans...

I ope we can go back there soon as Derbyshire is my favourite place....after my bean bag of course..
