Ello for you. On Sunday morning I did give the typist this look....
...and he was powerless to resist my tellypaffic suggestion that we be goin to London to the place they speak of called Hyde Park where the squirrels do run free (at least until I do get there). We kno it is close to Buckingham Paliss where the queen do live wiv her dogs...
.....but when we get there we do checks for peemail....
...but there dussnt be no sign of corgis so I wondes what to do next.....
Willium is bringin his Rip Stik (this do be like skateboard but wiv only one wheel at each end) and we is meetin up wiv his pal and they is doin laps of the park while we is walkin along behind....
....is cold and chilly but when the sun do be comin out we is takin the chnace to stop for a rest and take in the sceenery ...
...if I gets cold paws I haz one of my slaves to carry me for a bit....
....we go past Speakers Corner where a crazy man is yellin to peeple about evoloution....
....but I do say him he can wait as long as he likes but is no way he is ever gonna evolve into a border terrier. Some groups is just too elite for riff raff to be gettin in....we even go past typist's offis....
...and we do see that his moanin about werkin in a salt mine is greatly exaggerated. Mines duz not be stickin up in the air....everywhere we go they has racks of free bikes
....but we dussnt use em cos we dint got the right munnee....and some of us haz own transport anyway...
..all this walkin is makin us ungry so they suggest we go for lunch. First stop is nice buffet for me...
.....and then we did go to the cafe where we was meetin Blue who was very friendly....
...and did bark at typist if he stopped strokin his tummy. He did get what he wanted. After lunch we did meet Mackintosh who was visitin the park wiv his pawsons....
...he was a london border terrier so he was hazzin some fancy drink befor he talked to us country dogs....
....but he was very friendly and we did say to im we would put his picture on our blog because he was so kind to let us take his foto and his pawson did say they haz been readin our blog (which do make typist hair stand on end finkin we haz peple readin our blog in impawtant places like London). Ello for you Mac....after park we did ave to drive ome...
....and Lola was bein bossy as usual.....
....and we did come across the most hugest dogs we ever did see by Battersea Park....
....three of em wiv a tiny whippet for company, but we dussn't kno wot types they was....the fings you see in London. We had a pawsome day....and we did ave a nap when we got ome and Willium did take his life in his hands by eatin Pringles in front of Lola...
We had a very nice day in London and we do recommend it for you if you is visitin from overseas. You can go to Hyde Park and say ello for Blue and Mac but not the Queen cos she dussn't go there (at least not on Sundays)....so don't be expectin to hear her singing Bohemian Rhapsody or nuffing....
Woof....Metropolitan Marlee...
ps before I go I show you lie an death situation wot develop on Saturday. Please do not laff at typist high-pitched voice. He was woried we was gonne be eated by dat cow....
You iz in my power. You take I to the park |

OMD. I was almost hypnotized by your telepathic ways, Marley but I was able to shake it off so I could read about your adventures. *gives another full body shake*
ReplyDeleteHyde Park looks like a wonderful place to visit; maybe someday Ma and Dad will get across the pond so they can see it first paw!
Did Willium pay his 'Pringles tax'? I hope he paid you as well as Lola. *licks chops*
Oz
That not be the Queen singing Bohemian Rhapsody? Learn sumting new efurry day! And I not be watching that horror flick of the cow almost nomming Lola again. I had not recovered from when I seened it afore. Shudder. (Pee Ess - nice ideer you had to keep Willium bizzy with the Rip Stik so he not be complaning, BOL.)
ReplyDeleteDus you fink them horse size dawgies might be Leonburgers?
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed this entry Marley - that first pic of you is a bit scarey. We are all in your power.
ReplyDeleteLovely reading about Hyde Park - used to go there lots back in the day when I was a London dog. Happy memories.
I think you should use your telepathic powers to get Typist to leave the fridge door open.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen sure does have a big Corgi doesn't she - even bigger than the other posh London dogs!
I think Typist was wise moving away from those cows - they look like they could eat you & Typist in one go!
That stare gave me..the fear!!!!! Looks like a great time but that big coo meant business,Och Aye xxxx
ReplyDeleteWow you were some busy pups...looks like you had a nice time. My mom and Papa did also visit Hyde Park back in 1988, they were on vacation wif her school. I hope Lola was able to get William to pay the Pringle Tax, I fink I is going to haz to enforce dat one here, cause mom loves her Pringles.
ReplyDeleteThat looks much more salubrious than our weekend Marley. Mum says she used to go to Hyde Park to play softball when she did work in the saltmines in London. And she reckons those humungous doggles are Kangal dogs, well what she can see from the bus end of em.
ReplyDeleteLoving your telepathetic look Marley! Good work my friend.
ReplyDeleteHyde Park looks like lots of fun! Mom wanted to go to London but spent the money on getting me and paying vet bills for my big brother Max instead. She has her priorities, you know! BTW, she doesn't know Kangal dogs, but she thought the big guys were Leonbergers.
ReplyDeleteOnce again you made me giggle. I've told all my journalism students to read and follow your blog. If they don't we'll send you round to stare at them!!
